Samut Sakhon Residents Hold the Fourth Day of Merit-Making Ceremony Dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha


On 16 June 2026 at 6:00 PM, the people of Samut Sakhon Province gathered to participate in the fourth day of merit-making ceremonies, including Buddhist chanting and the recitation of the Abhidhamma, dedicating merit to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, Krom Luang Ratchasarinee Siripatchara Mahavajrarajadhida.


The ceremony was held at Phiphat Sakhon Dhamma Hall, Wat Lak Si Ratsamoson, Yokkrabat Subdistrict, Ban Phaeo District, Samut Sakhon Province.


The monastic ceremony was presided over by Phra Ratchawatcharasakhonkhani, Provincial Ecclesiastical Governor of Samut Sakhon and Abbot of Wat Lak Si Ratsamoson. The lay ceremony was presided over by Ms. Thiphatracha Ratsami, Mayor of Kaset Phatthana Subdistrict Municipality.


During the ceremony, the presiding lay official lit incense and candles in homage to the Triple Gem, offered incense and candles in reverence to the Dhamma, and lit the ceremonial golden offering set before the portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha. This was followed by Buddhist chanting and the recitation of the Abhidhamma as a dedication of merit.


Participating in the ceremony were monks and novices, together with district officials, heads of government agencies, representatives of Kaset Phatthana Subdistrict Municipality, village heads, assistant village heads, and residents from across Samut Sakhon Province.


All attendees gathered in unity to dedicate merit and express their deepest loyalty, respect, and remembrance, offering prayers and merit with profound devotion and reverence.
